At ICFF this year, O&G debuted it's first casegood design -- Highboy #1. O&G made small alterations to a 17th Century Highboy for the contemporary dwelling. Definitely one to see in person. Available as shown, or in any of our standard stains made-to-order. Press and sales inquiries please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
This beauty is off to Maryland!
Eli's Kitchen recently opened in Warren just two blocks from our studio! In true Rhode Island style nearly everything is locally sourced, from the farm fresh meat and produce, to the furniture. Eli ordered a variety of standard and custom pieces from O&G for the restaurant. Make sure you stop by and try the Crab and Dill Beignets! They also have a mean brunch on Sundays.
Hand Carved and making an appearance at ICFF 2014.
In addition to traditional sliding dovetail joinery, the Tripod Table gains some additional strength via the introduction of the cast brass 'spider,' which locks the legs into the stem. We carefully engraved our logo into the master spider with our pantograph, a machine that copies a larger engraving onto a smaller surface. Beautiful, functional design, all executed here in Rhode Island.
The American Folk Art Museum invited O&G to show some of our most recognized designs in their exhibit - Foiled: Tinsel Painting in America, which features remarkably intricate Tinsel Paintings from the mid to late 1800s. In addition to the Silver Fox Point Armchair (displayed in the window), we made a Copper Atlantic Armchair and the Colt Highback Armchair & Sidechair in Green Metallic.
