Andromeda’s seven lamps offer sculptural variations on the theme of the sphere and rotational motion. Andromeda takes its cues, and its celestial names, from the antique orrery, the clockwork model of the heavens. Its turning spheres find a counterpart in the spinning lathe that shapes every piece.Designed within simple limits of material, size and form language, seven distinct forms emerge, each with varying personalities and scale. Some are playfully sophisticated like the Mora, others are calm like the achritectural Orion. Each finds its place in the home, from the bedside, to a dresser top, to the long line of a credenza. United by perfect axial symmetry, like a planet in orbit, each form is crafted on the lathe from solid hardwood and is available in our full range of stain finishes on ash as well as natural walnut and cherry.

Like all O&G lamps, Andromeda is finished with exacting attention to detail, natural linen shades, woven cloth cords, cork bottoms and solid brass fittings are standard on each style.
