TERMS & CONDITIONS

ESTIMATES

Quotes expire after 30 days; please alert your O&G contact if you need an updated quote.

PAYMENT

  • Hardware orders, and orders with totals under $2,500, require full payment to enter production.

  • Orders over $2,500 require a 50% deposit to enter production.

  • All deposits are non-refundable.

  • Order Balance payment is due prior to order release or shipment.

  • Payment can be made by check, wire transfer or credit card.

  • All major credit cards are accepted.

  • Credit card transactions over $5,000 will incur a 3.5% credit card processing fee.

PRODUCTION & LEAD TIME

  • All products are made to order.

  • Production lead times begin after receipt of payment and final confirmation of all product details; for products using COM/COL, this includes O&G approval of the CFA.

  • Lead times reflect time to manufacture only and do not include shipping or transit time.

  • Shipping transit times are estimates and are not guaranteed.

SHIPPING METHODS

  • Furniture ships blanket-wrapped via specialized, white-glove carriers and is delivered fully assembled.

  • Large light fixtures are shipped in specialized crates and should be opened at the time of installation.

  • Smaller items, including hardware and accents, ship via UPS or FedEx in cartons.

  • Shipping costs are included in your quote where applicable. For eCommerce orders, shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

WAREHOUSING

O&G does not have a warehouse or storage capacity and does not offer warehousing services. If shipment is delayed by client beyond the ship window on the Order Confirmation, a 2% warehousing fee will be added to the balance invoice for each week of shipment delay.

DELIVERY SCHEDULE & ACCEPTANCE

Once your order has been picked up from O&G Studio, the appointed carrier will contact you directly to schedule a delivery window.

  • ·You (or an authorized recipient) must be present during the scheduled delivery window to receive, unwrap, and inspect the items.

  • O&G Studio is not responsible for fees incurred due to missed, refused, or rescheduled deliveries.

  • Any redelivery, storage, or return freight charges assessed by the carrier are the responsibility of the client.

  • Carrier storage fees may apply after 48 hours and will be passed through directly to the client.

ACCESS FIT & SITE ACCEPTANCE

Clients are solely responsible for ensuring that ordered items will fit through all entry points, including doorways, hallways, stairwells, elevators, and tight turns. Clients are also responsible for:

  • Measuring and confirming adequate clearance

  • Obtaining any required HOA or building approvals, if applicable

  • Securing delivery permits or Certificates of Insurance (COIs), if applicable

If stairs, elevators, tight turns, or other access constraints were not disclosed in advance and result in additional carrier fees or a failed delivery attempt, all associated costs are the responsibility of the client.

O&G Studio is not responsible for items that cannot be delivered due to site access or dimensional constraints.

INSPECTION & DAMAGE CLAIM

All items must be fully unwrapped and inspected at the time of delivery while the carrier is present. Please confirm:

  • Correct item(s) received (compare to packing slip or shipping documents)

  • Any damage to packaging or product

  • All components are received (i.e. Light fixture mounting plates, loose shelves, lamp shades etc.)

All damage or packaging issues must be:

  • Clearly noted on the delivery receipt

  • Photographed (including packaging)

  • Reported to O&G Studio within two (2) business days of delivery

Failure to follow this process may void the ability to file a damage claim.

Blanket Wrapped vs Carton/Crate Items:

  • Blanket-wrapped furniture: Concealed damage claims are not accepted after delivery. Risk of loss transfers to the client upon delivery acceptance.

  • Carton-shipped items: Concealed damage claims may be accepted if reported within thirty (30) days of delivery and supported by proper documentation.

All shipments are insured. Transit damage will be repaired or remade as quickly as possible at O&G’s sole discretion, provided inspection and documentation requirements are met. 

RETURNS, CANCELLATIONS & CHANGE ORDERS

All products are made to order and are final sale. Returns, exchanges, or refunds are not accepted.

  • Orders are considered locked once payment is received and final product specifications are confirmed.

  • Change orders may be accepted on a case-by-case basis and may be subject to repricing and lead-time reset depending on the nature of the request.

ERRORS & DEFECTS

  • Wrong item shipped: in the unlikely event the wrong item is shipped, O&G Studio will accept the return, cover cost of reshipping, and replace it with the correct item per the original purchase order.

  • Manufacturing defects: O&G Studio will repair or remake the item at its expense in accordance with the terms outlined in our Warranty Policy.

AGREEMENT TO TERMS

By placing an order with O&G Studio, submitting payment, or authorizing production, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

 

  

WARRANTY

O&G Studio offers a (1) Year Warranty against Defects in Material and Manufacturing. Items with defects resulting from material or manufacturing defects will be replaced or repaired at O&G’s sole discretion.

  • Natural Materials: O&G products are made from high quality natural materials that are carefully selected to fit within our standard for strength and beauty. Naturally occurring variations are not considered defects.

  • Finishes: O&G wood finishes are carefully applied for beauty and protection. Exposure to extremes of temperature, UV light, and chemical cleaners can cause changes in the color and feel of our finishes and these changes are not covered under this Warranty. O&G live metal finishes are intended to patina and change over time with use. These changes are expected and not considered a defect.

 

To make a claim:

The client must contact O&G Studio directly viainfo@oandgstudio.com within one year after the date of delivery. Client must supply O&G with images of damages and a detailed statement in order to assess the cause of damage. Once the damage is deemed a “Manufacturing or Material Defect”, O&G will inform the client whether replacement or repair is the necessary solution. This will be determined on a case by case basis. 

In the event your O&G piece is damaged and not covered by warranty, we offer a repair program on a case-by-case basis. To apply for this program, client must supply O&G with images of damages and a detailed statement of the repairs requested. O&G will work with the client to determine the best plan of action at the most competitive pricing. A repair quote and program outline will be determined at that time. O&G will work with the client to make sure the repair program is executed in the most convenient manner possible.
